On September 16, Near & Far Aid held its annual meeting at Southport’s Pequot Library. Throughout the year, Near & Far Aid has granted $1,012,500 to 100 non profit agencies in Fairfield County that provide a broad spectrum of aid to men, women and children suffering the effects of poverty. The meeting concluded with the announcement of the newest additions to the Board of Directors. Near & Far Aid is excited to welcome these most deserving and inspiring ladies, Near & Far Aid past President Elizabeth Fath, Emily Gordon, Katia Mead and Kelly Scinto. This is sure to be an exciting year!
