Near & Far Aid’s mission is to eliminate the causes and effects of poverty in Fairfield County by supporting community-based nonprofits that create lasting solutions. We are proud to partner with organizations like nOURish Bridgeport, whose work reflects our shared belief that access to healthy food, dignity, and opportunity are essential foundations for a thriving community.
Through our grant support, we help nOURish sustain and expand its innovative programs that address hunger and promote self-sufficiency. Their SUPER FOOD PANTRY provides families with at least $100 in groceries each week—helping to bridge the SNAP gap and ease financial pressures on housing, healthcare, and childcare. Their Indoor Hydroponic Farm grows and distributes fresh produce year-round, while programs such as the Baby Center, Feel the Warmth meal service, and English Language and Citizenship classes provide compassionate, practical support that uplifts individuals and families alike.
We are continually inspired by how nOURish transforms lives—not only by feeding thousands each week but by empowering neighbors to move beyond crisis toward stability and success.
